The Potato Pirates are a band comin' straight out of the underground from Lakewood Colorado. Mixing the harder punk rock sound with those upbeat ska rhythms that, when combined, has never failed to get a crowd moving. We've had the pleasure of sharing the stage with some amazing bands like: The Aggrolites, Synthetic Elements, The Unmentionables (RIP), The Toasters, Insomniaxe, False Colours, Global Hour, The Vitamin Kids, etc..... We also recently added some bagpipes to the act which we're mixing with the ska just to try something new. From my canversations with some of the Akron artists and Akron music fans I am hearing something common! Akron has not been given the respect that it deserves! I am only one person with a couple of music sites, but I do have a BIG DREAM! i want ALL the Artists and Bands that are not getting theirs to be able to get heard! That is the reson for me starting my site. I take the time to listen to every track completely before I put it up on my site and I am here to tell ya that AKRON IS STANDIN' UP!
